The Challenge
Product data lived in separate sheets per market. Prices, images and translations drifted, and launching one product in 12 markets took weeks of copy-paste work.
What We Built
A PIM platform with a single product model, market-specific attributes, an automated translation pipeline with human review, and instant publishing to 4 storefronts.
Central Product Model
Every SKU is created once with its base attributes, media assets and category mapping. Market teams then layer region-specific fields on top, so the master record stays single while each market inherits a clean, validated version of the same product.
Localization Workflow
Descriptions, specs and marketing copy move through an automated translation step and a mandatory human review before anything is approved. Terminology stays consistent per market, and unapproved drafts never reach a storefront.
Multi-Channel Publishing
One click pushes the approved product to all 4 storefronts with the correct language, currency and attribute set for each target market. Scheduling lets teams stage seasonal launches in advance and publish them automatically on the chosen date.
Technical Approach
The PIM sits on top of a structured data model with validation rules at every attribute, so incomplete or inconsistent records cannot be published. Storefronts pull content through a fast API and an image CDN that serves optimized, localized media in the right format for each region.
Translation Pipeline with Review
Machine translation drafts every new or changed field, a reviewer approves or edits it, and only approved text is exported. This keeps speed high while preventing unpolished or mistranslated copy from reaching shoppers in 12 markets.
The Result
One catalog now serves 12 markets. A product that took three weeks to launch goes live in two days.
Client Feedback
We finally know the source of truth for every product. Launching across markets used to feel risky; now it just works. — E-Commerce Director
